Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Gather all of your needed supplies. Remove your baby's dirty diaper by placing an opened clean one underneath and sliding the dirty one off. Clean your child's bottom area with a wipe. Remove the gauze from your child's penis. Gently clean the circumcision and penile area with warm water and mild soap. Use your fingertip to apply lubricant to their circumcision. Place fresh gauze onto the circumcision. Close the new diaper by folding it up so it covers their front side. Fold the top of the front side down to expose their umbilical cord. Tape the tabs on either side down on top of the folded piece. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
